नवीन यादव, इंदौर, MP 09 Indore। मध्य प्रदेश की औद्योगिक राजधानी इंदौर में पंजीकृत होने वाले वाहनों की 1989 से चल रही सीरीज एमपी-09 के अल्फाबेट्स अब खत्म हो चले हैं। बाइक श्रेणी में इसके ज्यादातर अल्फाबेट्स खत्म हो गए हैं। उसके बाद ही अधिकारी इसके विकल्प की तलाश में जुट गए हैं। ग्वालियर मुख्यालय से मार्गदर्शन मांगा जा रहा है। एमपी-09 से मिलता जुलता एमपी-90 या तीन अल्फाबेट्स इसका विकल्प हो सकता है। जानकारी के अनुसार, 32 साल पहले इंदौर को एमपी-09 की सीरीज आवंटित हुई थी। इसमें नंबर दिए जाते रहे। बाद में वाहनों की श्रेणी के अनुसार अल्फाबेट के साथ सीरीज दी जाने लगी। इससे कार, मोटर साइकिल, स्कूटर, मिनी बस, भारी वाहनों के लिए अलग-अलग अल्फाबेट सीरीज हो गई।

परिवहन विभाग के अधिकारियों के अनुसार एमपी-09 के अल्फाबेटस खत्म होने पर हम विकल्पों पर विचार कर रहे है, जिसमें तीन अल्फाबेटस को शुरू करने के साथ ही एमपी-09 से मिलती जुलती एमपी-90 या एमपी-99 को शुरू किया जा सकता है। इस संबध में मुख्यालय द्वारा ही निर्णय लिया जाएगा। कुछ जनप्रतिनिधियों ने भी इस संबध में अधिकारियों को पत्र लिख दिया है।

इंदौर में अधिक बिकते हैं वाहन

इंदौर में अधिक वाहन बिकते हैं। इससे सीरीज जल्द खत्म हो जाती है। कोरोना के पहले तक रोज 300 से अधिक बाइक रजिस्टर्ड होती थी। इससे एक सीरीज एक महीने में ही खत्म हो जाती है। अब अंतिम अल्फाबेट एक्सएफ चल रही है।

How to Register a Motor Vehicle in Madhya Pradesh?

The Madhya Pradesh RTO functions as per the rules of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 that carries out the process of vehicle registration for vehicles running in the state. An individual is not permitted to drive a motor vehicle in MP unless the vehicle has been registered at the MP RTO.

Vehicle Registration Process in Madhya Pradesh

Documents required for registration of motor vehicle at MP RTO

• Application for registration of motor vehicle in Form 20
• Age and address proof documents
• PUC certificate
• Passport-size photograph
• For registration of an imported vehicle, invoice has to be submitted
• Vehicle insurance
• Tax to be paid as per the Madhya Pradesh Motor Vehicles Taxation Act
• Applicable vehicle registration fee
• Sales certificate in Form 22
• Temporary registration number
• Loan hypothecation details in Form 34
• Manufacturer’s certificate is required for registration of a carriage vehicle
• Design approval has to be obtained from Transport Commissioner for registration of a trailer.

Procedure for registration of a motor vehicle at MP RTO

As per Rule 80 of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988, a registration number is given to the application on verification of the above submitted documents. Fancy registration number is given to the applicant through an auction. Also, additional charge has to be paid for getting the desired fancy number.

What is the Process for Transfer of Vehicle Ownership in MP?

The transfer of vehicle ownership can be done at the MP RTO on submitting the below listed documents.

• Application in Form 29 and 30, if the vehicle is purchased on finance in the name of with the signatures of the financer
• Registration certificate
• Vehicle insurance
• No Objection Certificate (NOC) has to be submitted if the vehicle is registered in other state
• No Objection Certificate (NOC) has to be obtained from the financer (if the vehicle has been purchased through finance)
• PUC certificate
• Age and address proof documents
• Affidavit stating the sale and purchase of the vehicle from seller and the purchaser.
