हमारा दिल आपके पास है 2000 में बनी हिन्दी भाषा की नाट्य फिल्म है। इसका निर्देशन सतीश कौशिक ने किया और अनिल कपूर, ऐश्वर्या राय और सोनाली बेंद्रे मुख्य भूमिकाओं में हैं।[1] ये एक तेलुगू फिल्म की रीमेक है जिसमें दग्गुबती वेंकटेश और सौन्दर्या मुख्य कलाकार थे।

प्रीती व्यास (ऐश्वर्या राय) एक युवा महिला है जो भवानी चौधरी (मुकेश ऋषि) और उसके आदमियों द्वारा एक शिक्षक पर किए गए एक घातक हमले के गवाह के रूप में बहादुरी से आगे आती है। घायल व्यक्ति को प्रीती और अविनाश (अनिल कपूर) नामक एक विनम्र और बहादुर व्यक्ति के द्वारा अस्पताल में पहुँचाया जाता है। प्रीती की गवाही चौधरी परिवार को क्रोधित करती है और नतीजतन चौधरी के छोटे भाई, बब्लू चौधरी (पुरु राजकुमार) ने उसका बलात्कार किया। इसके बाद, वह अपने परिवार के लिये अपमान का विषय बनती है और वो समाज द्वारा अस्वीकृत और बहिष्कृत हो जाती है, इसलिए वह अपने घर को छोड़ देती है।

उसे अविनाश के साथ आश्रय मिल जाता है जो उसे अपने घर में स्वागत करता है। दोनों दोस्त के रूप में अच्छी तरह से रहते हैं लेकिन यह संयोजन सामाजिक शर्म की बात बनती है और इसके लिये शादी के अलावा कोई अन्य समाधान नहीं है। अविनाश शादी के लिए प्रीती से पूछने का फैसला करता है। उसने मना कर दिया क्योंकि वह इसे उसका एक और उपकार मानती है, और अविनाश उसके फैसले का सम्मान करता है। दोनों एक शादी में भाग लेते हैं जहां प्रीती देखती है कि उसकी दोस्त बब्लू से शादी कर रही है, जिसने उसके साथ बलात्कार किया था। इसलिए अविनाश उसे मारता है और पुलिस बब्लू को गिरफ्तार कर ले जाती है।
