Department of Ex-Service Men Welfare (DESW) is inviting all applicable candidates to apply for the P.M Modi Scholarship under the scheme of PMSS DESW. The scholarship is to go after their higher studies such as degree diploma courses.

This scheme is only for the kids of Ex-Servicemen of the country. This is the central scholarship scheme that is not for other Central Govt. Employee children. The application will now begin in the year 2022 only for the children of Ex-servicemen whose family’s income is not greater than 6 lakh PA. Eligibility Criteria For DESW 2022 Scholarship Application Form

• Aspirants must have done their education at a University recognized by AICTE/ UGC/ MCI.
• Candidates who are willing to pursue the courses such as BE, BCA, BDS, B.Tech, BBA, MBBS, B.Ed, B.Pharma, etc are applicable under this scheme.
• Candidates who have completed their master’s degree from distance learning or out of the nation are not applicable to apply.
• The student’s lower age should be 18 years and the higher age should be 25 years.
• Aspirants should be the ward of Ex-Servicemen or Widows of Ex. servicemen (Army, Navy, Coasts Guards, Air force, and other military martyrs).
• Students should have qualified in 10th/ 12th/ Diploma from a recognized board/university/ institution.

• Students who have got 85% marks in 12th will get the advantage of a scholarship of INR 25,000 PA
• Students who have done 4 to 5 years of the professional course will get a scholarship amount of Rupees 2000 PA.
• Renewal of the scholarship will get completed by submitting bonafide to the DESW board on provided dates for girls, and boys.
• The applicants who have qualified 12th with at least 75% marks will get a scholarship reward of Rupees 1000 per month.
